FAQs
You've come to the right place! Talk to the other learners in your course and to your instructor. Others in your group may be interested in joining as well. You may already have some ideas of your own: Where would you like to go? How long would you like to stay? When would you like to travel?
Once you've given it some thought, feel free to get in touch with me.
You can search online for organisations that are recognised or accredited under Erasmus+. You can also browse opportunities on EPALE, the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe. Alternatively, I'd be happy to advise you on specific courses, organisations, and mobility opportunities that match your interests and learning goals.
The funding is paid in two instalments. You will receive the first instalment, 70% of the total grant amount, before your departure, once all required documents have been submitted and approved. The second instalment, the remaining 30%, will be paid after your mobility period has ended, once you have completed the online participant report and submitted your certificate of participation.
That depends on the type of mobility activity you choose. Some organisations offer all-inclusive programmes that include accommodation, while in other cases you will need to arrange your own place to stay.
Choosing environmentally friendly travel comes with several benefits. Not only does it help protect the environment, but Erasmus+ also provides additional funded travel days for participants who travel sustainably, allowing for a more flexible and relaxed journey.
Not quite. Erasmus+ funding is provided as a fixed grant based on the length of your stay and your destination. You do not have to account for individual expenses such as flights or accommodation. Depending on your travel and accommodation choices, the grant may not cover every expense in full. However, it is generally designed to cover most of the costs of your mobility experience.

In the event of an emergency, the appropriate point of contact will depend on the situation. You should contact the local emergency or security services, the staff of your host organisation, or the Erasmus+ Coordination Team at the Regional Association. Before your departure, you will receive an emergency information sheet containing all relevant contact details and important telephone numbers. We also strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance before travelling abroad to ensure you are covered in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
